Transitions

  • Transitions between fragments with different backgrounds we do via "Dipping to Black".

Example: Dip to black when finishing a slide with text.

Bad example: Cross Dissolve instead of Dip to Black.

  • For transitions between fragments with the same background, we use Cross Dissolve.

  • Transitions between subtitles are done through something like Cross Dissolve.

  • Transitions should last about 1s. But more than 2s is too much.

Text

  • Visual objects should not overlap the Sadhguru. If unavoidable, we occupy the lower part, leaving the face completely visible.

For example, when adding a large text subtitle it is better to break it into several, each with ≈ 3 lines and add them at the bottom in the centre. This way it will cover Sadhguru minimally.

    Example:

    Bad examples:

  • When Sadhguru reads a poem, we usually don’t dub it, but put some text with explanations.

  • Any complex translations, especially the practice names, must be agreed upon with the project coordinator.

  • Visual effects are chosen according to the situation. The most important thing is to look neat. Variety and sophistication of effects are secondary.

Bad example: it doesn’t look neat at all 😅

  • For titles, subtitles, etc., we try, if possible, to choose beautiful effects instead of just the Text effect.

Example: A beautiful title to replace the original.

Volunteering is a way of learning to make our lives into a process of just giving and being willing.
