We mainly use DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro in our team, but you can use any editor that is convenient for you.
If you have no experience with editing, then we recommend using DaVinci Resolve, a professional but intuitive video editor with a free version, which is more than enough for us.
I started with Sony Vegas, then switched to Premiere Pro, and recently switched to DaVinci, which I found the most convenient for our purposes.
You can download DaVinci from their official website: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve
Other Video Editing Apps
iMovie - Not very suitable for YT as it has only basic features
There is no way to conveniently add text over the video. That is, you will have to make a picture with translation in a separate application and stick it on top. This breaks the flow, and you will need to fiddle if you have to correct the text.
Only two video tracks can be used. This limits more complex mounting, although usually two is enough.
Sony Vegas – Suitable for video editing. Although DaVinci and Premiere are more convenient and popular.
Final Cut Pro – Suitable.
CapCut – Can be suitable for FB & IG. Not enough for YT.
In other cases, see for yourself. For YT the application must allow you to conveniently insert text into the video, add a colored background and blur.
Hardware Requirements
If you have Windows you should have at least an i5 - i7 CPU and 16 GB RAM to run Davinci.
I have a Macbook Air (i5 CPU and 8 GB RAM) and it is (barely :)) enough to run DaVinci.
If you do have not so powerful PC don't forget to optimize the DaVinci. This means ensuring you've set 24 fps, a lower resolution for video monitoring, etc.
Video Editing on Phone
You can use whatever you want, but I don’t know of any mobile editors suitable for our YT tasks. But you can try something like CapCut for squares for FB.
It doesn't matter what we are doing. Whether we are sweeping the floor, or managing the country. If we are putting our heart into what we are doing, it is beautiful to be doing that activity.

DaVinci Video Tutorials
If you don’t know how to use Davinci you should start with this playlist. In-depth DaVinci tutorial for beginners (~1 h):
How to Make DaVinci Resolve Run Faster
1 - Decrease Video Monitoring Resolution
There is a section where you can monitor videos. But we of course don't need to do it in maximum resolution. We can set the video monitoring format resolution to 720P
or 480P
or even less. To change the timeline resolution:
Move to the top menu bar, select File, and choose Project Settings to open the Project Settings panel.
Select the target timeline resolution under the Video Monitoring panel.
2 - Timeline Settings
Make sure that the timeline settings are correct. For example, if the timeline frame rate is 60 instead of 24, it will require much more processing power.
3 - Enable Render Cache
Sometimes, having the recommended requirements isn’t enough though. An easy thing you can do to get a small boost in performance is to enable the render cache in DaVinci. Cache in video editing is simply a temporary file set that allows your NLE to run smoothly. You’ll want to go to Playback > Render cache > Smart.
What this does is let DaVinci Resolve choose which video files it wants to throw into the cache automatically. These are often larger files that are heavy in effects.
If you are currently editing a project, the videos won’t render immediately. Items on the timeline that are being rendered will have a red bar over them. The red bar will change to blue when rendering is finished.
The whole process of Yoga is just to give yourself. Volunteering is a way of learning to make ourselves into a process of giving, and a tremendous possibility in that direction is to offer yourself through your work. "Volunteer" means one who is willing.
